Jonna Sundling is an energetic and eminent Swedish cross-country skier, born on December 28, 1994, in Umeå. She specializes in sprint disciplines and has had a successful career in both World Championships and the Olympic Games. Among her top achievements there are her double gold medals in sprint and team sprint at both the 2021 World Championships in Oberstdorf and the 2023 World Championships in Planica. At the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, she further impressed by winning a gold medal in sprint, a silver in team sprint, and a bronze in the relay.
Apart from her sporting career, Jonna has a strong interest in nature, health, and gender equality. She is a role model within Swedish skiing and is highly respected for her commitment both on and off the ski trails. Sundling has also been nominated for several prestigious awards, including “Female Athlete of the Year” at the Swedish Sports Gala.
