Ida Zetterström is originally from Sweden but is currently living in Åland. Her journey into the world of racing began at a very young age. When she was just a few weeks old, she was introduced to the racetrack and transitioned from being a spectator to becoming a driver at only 8 years old. She started her racing career with Jr. Dragster and quickly advanced to Super Comp Dragster at the age of 16.
In the highly competitive world of drag racing, Ida has emerged as a Scandinavian champion in the Super Street Bike class. With an impressive track record, she holds multiple records and has claimed many victories in various events and series within this high-octane drag bike category. In 2021, Ida earned her FIA Top Fuel license after completing the fastest licensing run in European drag racing history. Two years later, she became European champion and set two new European records.
For the 2024 season, Ida will make her NHRA Top Fuel debut in the USA.
