Frida Westman

Frida Westman is a Swedish ski jumper, born in 2001 and raised in Örnsköldsvik. She has established herself as one of Sweden’s most unique winter sports athletes and a pioneer in a sport that has long had a limited presence in Sweden.

Frida made her international breakthrough during the 2022/2023 season, when she finished third in the World Cup – Sweden’s first Ski Jumping World Cup podium in 30 years. At the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, she delivered another outstanding performance, finishing fourth in the large hill competition, just one place away from an Olympic medal.

Only a month after the Olympics, Frida made Swedish sporting history. In her first-ever ski flying competition, she jumped an incredible 225 metres, setting a new Swedish record for both women and men. The performance also earned her second place in the World Cup and further established her among the world’s elite.

Frida’s journey is defined by courage, determination and a constant drive to push boundaries. As Sweden’s leading female ski jumper, she is helping put Swedish ski jumping back on the international map – in a sport that attracts millions of fans across some of Europe’s biggest winter sports markets.
