Hanna Öberg is a Swedish biathlete, born on January 2, 1996, in Piteå, Sweden. She is known for her outstanding achievements in biathlon and has experienced great success at both the national and international levels. Hanna had her breakthrough during the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, where she won a gold medal in the individual race and a silver in the relay. She became the first Swedish female biathlete to win an Olympic gold and was awarded both the prestigious Bragdguld and Jerringpriset. In addition to this, Hanna has several World Championship medals and podium finishes in the World Cup.
Hanna is known for her precision in shooting and her endurance in skiing, which has made her one of the most prominent biathletes in Sweden. Beyond her sporting success, she is also an inspiring role model for many young athletes.
