Elvira Öberg is a Swedish biathlete, born on February 26, 1999, in Kiruna, and is one of Sweden’s most promising athletes in the sport. She had her breakthrough at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, where she impressed by winning three Olympic medals: two silver medals in the pursuit and individual races, as well as a gold medal in the women’s relay with the Swedish team. Just like her sister Hanna, Elvira quickly made a name for herself on the international stage, thanks to her strength, speed, and precision in both shooting and skiing.
In addition to her Olympic success, Elvira Öberg has also had significant achievements in the World Cup and other international competitions. She is known for her determination and hard work, which have led to her rapid development in the sport. Outside of biathlon, Elvira enjoys baking and spending time in nature.
